Kansas State required a donor recognition display that proudly displayed two distinct logos. Because this was a new endowment program, attention to the new logo design was paramount. Future updates to donor names needed to be effortless and economical. The chosen location for the display involved a pillar, which created yet another challenge. 1157 designconcepts incorporated a system utilizing transparencies held in place with glass panels and standoffs allowing for effortless updates to donor names. The logos were etched into glass panels that were lighted by an innovative technology, EDGELite. The LED lighting solution draws everyone’s attention to the display. Installation around the pillar was accomplished through a unique three-section design that provided balance between all elements of the display.
