The College of Wooster in Ohio recently completed construction of the Ruth W. Williams Hall of Life Science building, a unique building with a biophilic (love of nature) environment that includes several reclaimed elements throughout. Wanting a display to match the uniqueness of the building and acknowledge the gift from the Williams family, the college reached out to us to create a concept that matched the interior and exterior aesthetics of the building.
Our design team created a beautiful display, using real sustainably sourced and natural preserved artisan moss (making it forever green and maintenance free) and placing it on reclaimed wood from a barn in Ohio. The project was a huge success and we are so proud to have created a donor recognition wall using biophilic design, a principle that believes applying nature to the spaces where we live and work lead to numerous health benefits and an overall sense of well-being!
